Deirdre Smith

Education - High School: Massena Central High School (1993), Massena, NY. Colleges: Evangel University (BS, Physical Education - 1999), Springfield, MO. Missouri State University (MS, Education/Physical Education - 2004), Springfield, MO.

Volleyball Experience - played four years in high school (First Team All-Northern, League MVP, Top Server, Team MVP). Played two years college volleyball (Most Improved Player - 1993).

Coaching Experience - Reed Middle School Volleyball Coach (10 years) and Club Bear Volleyball Coach (8 years).

Current Employer - 10 years as physical education teacher and volleyball coach at Reed Middle School, Springfield, MO.

Deirdre is IMPACT and CAP I certified. This is her eighth year to coach for Club Bear. She previously coached teams from all levels 12s to 18s. She has served on the Club Bear Board since 2008. Deirdre's favorite quote is "Winners will practice things that aren't fun." (Pat Summit)
