The Clubhouse of Springfield
Clubhouse InfoAthletic Training

Hello Club Bear families,  As club season winds down we want to let you know about some exciting things that are coming up in the next few months at The Clubhouse.  Starting April 1st we will be offering several skills clinics on Monday nights and some Wednesday nights during the month of April.  Space is limited in these clinics and will fill up fast!  How do you sign up?  Go to our website The Clubhouse and in the upper left hand corner you will see specific-skills training and all-skills training tabs.  If you click on the tab, you can see all of the clinics we are offering.    In addition, we also have our performance training classes, where your daughter can work on improving her speed and agility as well as her vertical.  Once you click on the register button you will be directed to our scheduling software.  Here you will need to create an account.  When you create an account read the instructions on the left to ensure you are registering the correct way.  Also when you register be sure and put what team your daughter plays/played on so that I can put you down as a Club Bear client.  Club Bear clients will get early registration privileges and other special alerts.  We would also suggest you join our email list so you can keep up with all the activities we have planned for this Spring and Summer!
In addition to the clinics starting in April, The Clubhouse will also be offering a competitive and recreational league for both 3rd/4th grade and 5th/6th grade.  These league will start April 29th and be played on Monday nights (Wednesday will be the additional night if needed).  There will be 8 games played in four weeks, April 29th-May 20th.  We are also going to try something different and offer a 4 vs 4 league for 7th/8th grade and 9th/10th grade on Tuesday nights.  We believe this type of unique league will give players more opportunities to get ball touches in game like situations and also emphasize the importance of talking and communicating with your teammates.  Attached you will see an informational flyer that explains all of our clinics more in detail.  We hope to see you out at The Clubhouse in April!!

Training at Clubhouse

Hello Everyone! My name is Nick Hostetter, son in law of Connie Faria who many of you know well. I recently graduated college with a B.S. in exercise physiology. I am a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and have worked with nearly 100 clients. I am currently studying to become a certified strength and conditioning specialist.

I am very excited that the Clubhouse of Springfield is finally up and running! To have a facility like this to practice volleyball in is incredible. I am wanting to let everyone know that I am the new performance trainer for The Clubhouse!

As of now, we will be offering speed, agility, vertical jump and conditioning sessions, all of which will have the potential to significantly improve your athletes performance during practice and more importantly, in games. I will be focusing on sport specific movements that will improve your athlete’s lateral movements, vertical jump, and overall endurance for those long and tiring games and tournaments.

Prices for Training:

One on one rates:

·       $25 for 45 minutes

Group training rates:

·       $10 per person (2-10 people) for 45 minutes

So get your friends and teammates together and come train! Group training sessions are nice in that they are cheaper and provide your athlete the opportunity to train together.

In the near future, we will also have an area at the Clubhouse of Springfield that will be stocked with weightlifting equipment to improve your athletes strength and power. More on that to come! I look forward to working with you and Club Bear to improve your athletes overall performance!
